I have a STOP message on the oven display. The user manual refers me to the product description sheet or the electronic programmer description, neither of which I have. The oven is not working at all while the STOP message is displaying. How do I resolve this? I believe that the previous user turned off the mains supply to the oven, which is why the oven needs to be re-set - is this the likely cause? Thanks.

HI. This is a control fault, that may be corrected by simply shutting down the appropriate circuit breaker for 5 minutes. This will DE-energize the control board. Once the 5 minutes have passed, simply re-introduce power to the unit. If the unit continues to produce the error, this will confirm that the main control board has failed. it should be replaced asap.

If there is a power cut to the property, or the power to the oven is turned off, the oven may display a "STOP" error message. If this happens, the oven will need to be reset and the time set before the oven can be used. To reset the oven, follow the instructions below: Ensure that the 2 outer knobs are fully pushed in. Press the middle button and keep it pressed in until told to release it. Push the Left button to release it. Now turn the Left button one complete turn clockwise (the oven should beep) and push the left button back in. Now release the middle button. Push the right button to release it. Press the middle button twice. Now turn the right button to set the time. When the time is set correctly, press the middle button to save the time. The oven should now be reset.

How can I turn back my Frigidaire oven that has an error of F5 on its electrical panel please?

Question edited for typos. However "turn back"??
Frigidaire Error Codes

Error Code: F0, F1, F5, F6

  • Code Description: Electronic oven control failure
  • Solution: These codes indicate a malfunction in the electronic oven control. The electronic oven control (EOC) may also be referred to as circuit board, control board, mother board, ERC, or clock. Unplug the appliance for about 10 minutes to see if the error code will reset itself. When you reconnect the power, if the error code is still displayed, you can test the temperature sensor with an Ohm meter to determine if it has the proper level of resistance. If the oven control is failing or defective, replace it.

Diplomat elite double oven. No manual.how do I set the clock.

Hello -

Apparently, the Diplomat brand of ovens ended production in 2008.

Prior to the end of production, Diplomat was part of the MFI company, with the company's Hygena brand name combined with Diplomat.

I have not yet found a user manual for Diplomat Elite Double oven online.

However, I have found a Hygena Diplomat manual online (free) and the manual has instructions for the clock. The instructions MAY be the same for your oven (I hope.)

See:
https://productmanuals.inbro.net/seeinsidebrochure/Product-Manuals_Hygena-Diplomat-Select-Ovens/Hygena-Diplomat-Select-Ovens/page_1

The clock instructions are on Page 10: Using Your Electronic Minute Minder.

Best wishes.

I am trying to start the oven but, safecmesage is coming on display. Can anybody have any idea how to fix this?

The Safety Block is active and the oven functioning is blocked. This can be useful, for example to stop it being used by children.
To unlock it, refer to the User Instruction manual
It can be released in AEG KB98xx/KM98xx models by simultaneously pressing in the ["+" and "-"] or ["P" and "-"] buttons. "P" is the Programme button here.
It can be released in other appliances by pressing the Stop button for 3 seconds.

Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Turn oven on to bake when it reaches temp oven cuts off and f2 sh

This indicates the oven has reached an over temperature. You will first need to check the temperature probe for the proper reading. Refer to the tech sheet located somewhere on your stove. It should be around 1100 ohms. If this checks out good the ERC electronic range control will need to be replaced. Here is a couple links that should help

Hotpoint BU62 display works but nothing else does.

If the display is flashing auto, then you need to reset it to manual, otherwise oven will not work,
The grill should still work regardless..If you have your handbook, refer to (What if something goes wrong).
If no hand book, type in HOTPOINT USER MANUALS in your browser bar, and follow the links.
