I have a problem with lenovo 3000 c200 laptop. its sound and audio devices properties are hidden and showing no audio device. i installed audio driver but not improvement. Please help me

The same model Lenovocan have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless youknow exactly which one is installed in your Lenovo, you need to download allthe drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download thedrivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a recordof which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files arelocated on your hard drive. it shows that you have not install drivers of all above listed items, please install them from the system CD or just download from the IBM official web site by clicking HERE

Hopefully you are using a Lenovo y210 model - in that case you can download your driver from http://www.laptops-drivers.com/lenovo-laptop/lenovo-3000-c200-n100-audio-drivers.html.
If this is not your problem then please provide more details of the problem.

If the pre-installed operating system is not windows xp and you just upgraded/downgraded to XP, you have to download the drivers for your audio device. You can download the drivers at: http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/driversdownloads/drivers.html

once you're at the website, type the serial number of your computer and hit search. scroll down to see the audio categories and select the driver for you audio device that is compatible with windows xp

Go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager - Sound, video controllers and uninstall the driver. Restart your laptop and reinstall the sound card driver. Good luck.

Either the wrong driver was installed or the audio device is faulty. To check if the correct driver was installed, go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - If you get a yellow ? against the audio device then the driver for this device was not installed. open your control pannel and click on user settings. from here you can change administrative option!!!

Note: I selected Vista as the operating system. If different you will need to select the operating system you are using.

if you have the CD driver for your laptop (audio driver) try reinstalling it.
