My Vista laptop will install MS Picture It Publishing Platinum 2002 but stops working when I try to run the program. I was told any PC software newer than 2000 will work on Vista.

Uninstall and reinstall.

Unfortunately, this software was developed well before Windows 7 and does not work with Windows 7. The answer seems to be get a copy of Picture It 99. This works for me on vista and windows 7

Printmaster Platinum 16 is not compatible with Vista or windows 7. You can try to use Vista compatibility mode to run older programs in Vista. There is not guarantee that it will work!!! Please take note:- **The installation of an older program to run in a newer OS may also crash your PC too.

You have to open your eyes and look carefully at our program box and make certain it was designed to be compatible with Vista, if it does not say Vista it will not work with it, in many instances. If you bought this for an older OS it just simply may not be compatible. Vista is a very finicky OS and Microsoft had in mind for people to HAVE to upgrade their software to remain compatible.....$$$$$

That means that the program isent compatible with vista, its only compatible and works with Windows 98 / 95 / 2000 / Me / XP / NT

I dont know if there is any pacthes out there to make it work with vista, i couldent find any.

This program is NOT compatible with Microsoft Vista.

This software is no longer supported by Microsoft. It doesn't work with Vista and It won't work with Windows XP once the service packs are installed. The product was discontinued in 2004. You can see for yourself by going to Microsoft.com and select Picture It for details.
