hi friend go to Control panel> Printer and faxes > double click on your printer (HP deskjet) there might be pending document's Now click on printer and click on "cancel all documents"
This could mean that a 2-sided document was sent to the printer and the printer is waiting for the page(s) to be reinserted to print on side 2. The power light blinking indicates the printer is preparing to print a document. The resume light indicates 1) needs paper, 2) a paper jam anywhere in the printer, or 3) the ready to print side 2 of the document.
