Soon as plug in relay clicks front stand by indication stay on

no it wouldnt b the relay, cos all relay dos is making them flush, thats all so if the relay lets say fails, and u turn the indicator, what will happen is that it gona come on and stay on constantly (wi /ot flushing)till it swiched off, so not that. i knw you sad front and back now dnt work rite wat abt the oposite side is tat working??

did you change the battery ? wrong amps or voltage could do that sometimes. it's called reverse polarity.

You would have to check to see if you have constant power going to the starter, it is possible that the ignition switch is going bad and causing power to always be supplies to the system. You might pull the ignition switch and plug relay in and see if that solves the problem.

How does this make sense? You are standing in front of your vehicle and hear a noise...and you ask someone very far away what the noise is? Listen carefully and use the sound to locate the source of the noise. If necessary, remove the serpentine belt and turn each pulley till you find one that feels "wrong" either binding or loose. Then, change it. If you are blowing the fan relay, chances are that the fan motor is drawing too much amperage and is binding when it gets hot...that will cause the relay to fail.

easiest way to find the relay is turn the indicators on and listen for where the clicking sound is comming from youll soon find it this way.hope this helps

After market indicators were fitted. The front lenses only had 5 watt bulbs fitted causing the problem. Upgrading to 21 watt bulbs fixed the problem.

useualy it means that your tuns signal bulb is out on the front or rear

With out doubt it is the Indicator Flash Unit (Found near fuses) its a plug type box. you pull it out, plug in new one and it works. (Kinda looks like a strange adaptor plug you would put in a power socket.

find location of indicators/flasher relay h/book will indicate which relay or look at fuse box/relays cover underside ? it may have diagram? try another relay? and ensure contacts are clean where relay plugs in
