Some television remote controls have a PIP OFF button, while others only have a PIP button that needs to be pressed repeatedly until the PIP/Twin-View window disappears.
NOTES:
Some Sony rear projection televisions have a FLASH FOCUS button that will turn off the PIP/Twin-View feature.
Some Sony universal remote controls, if programmed to operate a Sony TV, can disable the PIP/Twin-View feature by pressing the REC or ENT button.
If the original TV remote control is not available or is not functioning properly, auto programming the television tuner orperforming a power reset may deactivate the PIP/Twin-View feature.
If pressing the appropriate buttons on the TV remote control does not work, then the PIP/Twin-View window might be from a two-tuner cable or satellite set-top box. If this is the case, use the remote control provided with the set-top box to remove the PIP/Twin-View window.
Hello
To access all parameters of your Sony TV, you must have its original remote control. If you haven't one, get it from Sony authorised service center. The number of remote control for KV-32FS120 is [ RM-Y195].
OK.
Many TV functions can be controlled from the on-screen menus using buttons on the TV itself. These include all kinds of settings however Sony did not include PIP in these menus. Therefore a valid remote is required to operate PIP. One thing you could try is removing the cable from the secondary input on the TV which provides the signal for the other picture. Without an input signal PIP may be disabled. Also, try buying a universal remote and setting the proper code for your TV. Original remote could be hard to find but remotes.com may have one.
pls. use remot menu key and open main menu use DW key and select system menu see the PIP option is "ON" set option is"OFF" .
See the PIP screen is clear.
how did you explain the problem you have to reach the correct code from remote to turn off or on of the pip circuit - i can suggest to use the original remote control or somethig else delfo
The problem was solved by using the TWC cable remote control and selecting "TV" on the top and the press the big blue "Select" button. DO not forget to put the remote back into "CBL" mode. Apparently this is a hidden feature, which works even on TVs, which officially do not support PIP. I works only with the one tuner, video 2 and video 3 but not video 1.
If you have the original remote for this TV on the pip menu (left side slider on remote all the way up) there is a pip off button. If you unplug the unit long enough it should go back to normal. If you go into demo mode and then exit mode you will again be out of the pip. With out the original remote you cannot easily turn pip off.
I pressed "Demo" on the front of my TV and it worked, I have an old Sony KP-53XBR35 VIDEOSCOPE XBR - no original remote and the Universal remote has PIP button but would not shut it off.
Finally it's off!!!!
