I received a Minolta Di251 copier from a friend. Copier works if I put original on glass. But if I try to use the duplexing document feeder, I get an error saying misfeed detected with a picture showing misfeed at F1. There is never a paper misfeed, in fact the paper never gets started. I have cleaned the rollers at F1.
"Small rollers wheels lower to paper but the small rollers never start turning so paper never gets loaded. There is no misfeed at F1, F2, or along the path.
Also it says replace video imaging unit, but copies do work if I place document on glass.
Where do I buy the imaging unit and about how much?
Is it worth fixing????

Di 251 is legacy Minolta machine, Minolta is now Konica Minolta

Make sure the actuator pin is still attached to the mid left section of the copier. It's a metal pin about 3 inches long (we call it the "shwartz", ha,ha) that is inserted into the finisher when the finisher is pushed close to the copier. It is normally mounted with 1 or 2 screws.

Code C0000 if a fuser motor failure.
Check to see if anything is damaged in the fuser (the thing that gets hot).
Also, check for a jammed transparency (if you use them).

Does the adf show a paper jam? If so remove it or look for some thing blocking the paper path and remove it. Also try to turn off the copier and disreconnect the doc feeder and turn it back on and see what happens.

open doors and find these solenoids, clean them and make sure they are moving fine, its not so hard. just step by step move with paper and find out where the solenoids are. solenoids aren't expensive so if its a solenoid problem you should fix it
