I had the same problem you will need to buy a sound card with driver disk i have tried every where unless you know some one with the same then its no good . but you could try putting it in the search in lime wire or bearshear or kazza it is the only help i can help you with hope it work

Can I use a compaq persario without a mouse? I am not sure if this is the right model. It just says compaq persario and has windows vista. the mouse died.
If you computer is a desktop meaning it has a computer tower and a separate monitor on it its called a desktop computer and you really need a mouse for it, but if its a laptop/notebook those that are slim and without any tower for it you can use it without any mouse since it has a touch pad that you can use as a replacement for your mouse.
