SAME PROBLEM! Does anyone have a solution? My TomTom 730 screen goes spastic. Just like Army Colonel's TomTom... "since the latest update my screen keeps changing. When travelling it will consistently go to the "Help Me" screen, then the "Walk to Help" then search for Police stations.
I continually go 'back' to the map and it soon jumps back to the police screen. I notice it is self-activating the button on the top-right of the screen." I, too, thought that some dirt may be there so I cleaned the screen, but it still happens. This can be very dangerous as I'm driving trying to figure out what's wrong and trying to see & hear where I need to go.

The error: Keeping touching "H" and "P" position (right middle) for most situation. Maybe there was heat build up at that area, it was possible backlight LEDS.
I did some test, adjusting brightness to zero in day and night mode.
It seems get better than before, the ghost finger did not appear within 50 mins driving.
Please testing with your ghost 730and let us know the result.

Yes, mine is doing that very same thing, Has worked fine for years but after downloading the latest update, is self changes screens and wants to take me to the nearest police station wherever I go. Anybody know what's going on with this unit. At least I know I am not alone.
Ours actually started to call the police. Does anyone have any ideas or fixes?
