If you are doing a firmware upgrade:
1. Navigate to the default home page of your router.
2. Look for a setting such as "System" "Updates" "Settings"
3. Follow the on-screen instructions after having selected update firmware (note this feature may try to query the manufacture's website for firmware updates as the first thing it does.)
4. Check for a "browse for firmware file." or "Browse"
5. Navigate to where you saved the firmware upgrade file and select it.
6. Choose a button for "update firmware now" or "apply this firmware" or something of that effect.
7. Let it run but DO NOT unplug the router or stop the update while it's processing it. This could render the router useless.
If your router isn't set up this way. Let me know.
