The price of KLIC7001 $29.00 try to purchase the battery at wallmart target or at kodak.com/go/shop.,
how do you charged your camera USB cable or AC adaptor? if USB cable make sure that the Cable is working fined and the USB port of a computer is not defective., If the AC adaptor., try to clean the 3 metal contacts of your KLIC7001 using clean dry cloth, then charge it again. if its failed., try to test first the camera itself using different KLIC7001 if its not charging it means the problem is on the camera not the battery

Nikon camera battery keeps losing charge

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

I haven't turned the camera on for a couple of years. I've tried charging the battery, but I can't get it to power up. Do I need to replace battery or is it something else?

If unused for any length of time, rechargeable batteries lose their ability to retain a charge. Try it with a brand new, fully-charged battery. FWIW, I recharge all my camera and flashgun batteries monthly.

Please, what batteries do I use for my Nikon CoolpixL22. Thanks for your help

The L22 takes two standard AA batteries. You may use disposable alkalines or lithiums, or rechargeable NiMHs. Don't mix them, that is, use two of the same kind. If you use rechargeables, you must charge them separately; the camera is not a battery charger. You can use any brand, though I'd stick with the major brands.

Lithiums will last longer than alkalines but cost more. Rechargeable batteries cost more and won't hold a charge as long as alkalines, but can be reused.

Nikon Coolpix L110 camera was bought for me for Christmas 2010. Worked fine at first, but now seems to be having problems. Batteries don't last. I just bought new batteries in Feb/March this year...

You have to charge the batteries for nearly 8-10 hours. Brand new batteries also require a full recharge of 8-10 hours. Not only making sure the batteries are charged, have you changed the battery in the menu under type of batteries.
Download this manual :

Why won’t my camera recharge my batteries?

Not all cameras can charge batteries. CAUTION: Rechargeable batteries must never be used in the HP Photosmart 210 and 215 series digital cameras. The overload protection and control circuits are not designed to handle the kind of power intensity delivered by rechargeable batteries. If the camera is a model that does charge batteries, ensure the batteries are rechargeable: The only acceptable rechargeable batteries for HP Photosmart cameras are NiMH cells. Neither lithium nor alkaline cells are rechargeable, and they will not be charged in the camera. The camera must detect the type and condition of the batteries The camera will only charge batteries when it detects the batteries are rechargeable and in good condition. New rechargeable batteries, and/or batteries than have been unused for a long time will not be recognized as good batteries. If the camera fails to charge NiMH batteries, charge them in an external charger once, then use them in the camera. If this does not correct the problem, the cells are old and/or damaged and new cells must be purchased.
