Programminghow do I change the extension of a phone. - 2.gif is done on 7310, 7324 and 7316 type sets.
Enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344.
The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming.
At the terminals&sets prompt, press the next key 7 times(bottom right arrow).
The display should say system programming.
Press the show key (top right arrow)
*On newer versions, The display should say hunt groups
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) .
The display should say Change DNs
*On older versions, the display should say Change DNs
Press the show key (top right arrow).
Enter in the old dn number i.e.229.
Press the show key(top right arrow)
enter the new dn number i.e. 225
Press the show key (top right arrow)
Press the Rls key.

    My phone will not accept 266344 as a password. When I use the password it will accept and go to System programming, the Show button takes me to "Hunt Groups". I cannot find anything about Change DNs. The closest I can get is Fax DN: None Any suggestions?

    Is the password your'e using 23646(admin)? If so its possible that when the system was installed the password was changed from the default password.

I would like my phone to ring only when my extension is called.
Check you button programming by using Feature *0 and starting with the intercom button go up. If a button says "Answer xxxxxx", your phone is programmed to also answer that extension. This can be removed in programming by changing the Answer DN's down from Line Assignment. In this setting use the SCAN soft key to show the extensions assigned.

You can logoff the current extension by hitting the options button, then the next page, then logoff.

Then you can re-logon as a new extension. Then enter the password.

It currently shows SENT 205V, How do I change it back
This actually happened on another phone also. Somehow, one phone picked up the fact that another phone had new messages saved on it. Thus phone extension 213 had send 222V on this LCD display. Once the messages were cleared off of extension 222, the original display of
CF-BN:213-850 and the DATE below, were displayed. So, I was able to clear it off in the same manner for two other phones. The only thing I don't know is how the voice messaging from one phone was tied into the other.

Welcome to Panasonic TD programming....

Even though the hardware doesn't exist, the numbers do. The universe of 101-164 and 201-264 are already taken. Oops, 200 might be available, 100 might be available. 167 and 168 and the 80's might work.

It's a 3 step process. Change 210 to 200 change 225 to 210 and change 200 to 225. There's your "swap".

Now, keep in mind that the XDP port for 110 is 210 and if your voice mail is analog.....Ah, but that's another thread.
