A flash drive should not discriminate over what file you try to put on it, so long as the drive is big enough to store the file in question. Don't try to write to the flash drive directly, always transfer files already stored on your hard drive to it.

The Photos viewer only supports JPEG format images (with ".jpg" file extensions) and not all JPEG files are compatible with your TV. For more information, see "About USB flash drives".

Is there a way to transfer pictures from the internal memory to a memory card

Is there a way to transfer pictures from the internal memory to a memory card?

Not directly. But simply anyway. Get a USB flash drive if you do not have one. 2 gig should do fine. Walmart even has them now. TigerDirect.com is the lowest price internet source I've seen. If there is a CompUSA store near you, that is great as well.

1 Upload the pictures as you would usually do into you computer as jpeg files. You can then rename them from the numbered files.

2 Plug the flash drive into a USB port

3 Then download the photos into flash drive.

Here is the link for the instruction manual for your camera.

Hope this helps,

I wanna convert my photo menc format to jpeg format what should i do?

Actually, .menc file (Microsoft windows mobile encrypted file) isn't a real file type extension, it only indicates that the file is encrypted on a Storage Device (windows mobile) where Storage Card Encryption feature is installed.... They can't be directly converted to Jpeg. You have to remove the encryption and then restore them to normal jpeg file. First transfer the files to the computer, and then disable the Storage Card Encryption from the Mobile/Device and again transfer back to the device.
More details with illustrations here (click here).

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Canon mp630 scanner

You can save the scanned data on a USB memory or a memory card by using the control panel.

IMPORTANT

- You can not use USB memory card and memory card simultaneously.

1 .Select Scan (Scan) on page HOME (HOME) and then press the OK button.

The screen where you select where the data should be saved is displayed.

2 .Turn the USB memory card direct print port or memory card into the slot.

3 .Select USB flash drive (USB flash drive) or memory card (Memory card) and then press the OK button.

4 .Select Save on USB disk (Save to USB flash). The screenshot Scan documents (Scan document) is displayed.

5. State the necessary settings and then press the OK button.

6. Place the original on the glass plate as shown on the LCD screen.

7. Press the [color] (Color) for scanning in color, or button [Black] (Black) for scanning in black and white.

When the preview is enabled, press the OK button after viewing the preview pane on the LCD screen.

The machine starts scanning and the scanned data is stored either on the USB memory card. Remove the original from the glass plate, the scan is complete.

REFERENCE

- If the USB memory card or memory card becomes full while images are scanned, saved only images that are already scanned.

- You can save up to 2000 files of scanned data in both JPEG and PDF formats.

- Folder and filename of the scanned data stored on USB memory or memory card is as follows:

• Folder Name: (extensions: PDF): CANON_SC \ DOCUMENT \ 0001

• Folder Name: (File Extension: JPG): CANON_SC \ IMAGE \ 0001

NIK0N coolpix l3 movie transfer

Hi:
When you transfer all the files, the movies should be transferred as well.
Open Windows Explorer to the folder you saved the files to.
Notice the file names by using either details or list in the view.
Other operating systems may differ slightly.
The movie files should be with .mov extension.
The jpeg or picture files should be saved to .jpg extension.
Some cameras will save to a different extension if the highest resolution is used, such as .tiff or other.

Undifined problem

You want to Check Disk for errors as soon as possible. If using Windows, right-click on the drive in My Computer, click on Properties, then the Tools tab, then the Check Now button, then the Start button.

This can happen with any drive if the connection to the drive is lost too soon after saving a file to it. Always use the little 'Safely Remove ...' icon for the drive first, before removing any flash drive.

When a file is saved, the data has to be written to available clusters, the directory has to be updated, and the cluster map has to be updated. In this case, it appears the directory was updated, but either the cluster map had not been updated so that the clusters were still available to be overwritten by a later file, and/or the data itself had not finished being saved, so the old contents of its clusters were still there.
