Razor3 Purchased a razor unlocked from china mobile and all works well but i cant connect to internet or send text messages

Seeing your Phone companies can't help with OTA internet settings (by the way, OTA means Over The Air) for you to configure your phone, you may have to go the Manually configure your phone for internet route.
To do this, go to your SIM card network service provider website and download Manual settings for Internet access.
Open settings in your phone and navigate to either Network/Mobile Networks/APNs, etc and Manually configure your phone.
When completed, select Use as default data/internet access

hello,you can only send messages through multimedia if you have your internet settings/mms settings being activated on your mobile device,if it is activated you should be able to send the pictures.i would advice you call the customer service centre of your service provider to complain.

hi, what you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to send you the correct mms and internet settings to your phone they send these via text message, this will then update your phone to the correct settings. They dont charge for this service you can also sometimes send the settings to your phone via your service providers website so have a look their first.

So an unlocked Sidekick on ATT will only be able to do text and phone. The other sidekick features require the t-mobiles sidekick data plan. It is hard coded to the phone

here i post some procedures you can follow for activation your GPRS and MMS.

Automatic Activation of GPRS/MMS/WAP
Go to Menu -> Services -> WAP -> Settings -> Edit Profile
Select Sun WAP, Press Activate Profile and Save
Go to Menu -> Messages -> MMS -> Message Settings -> Server Profile
Select Sun MMS, Select Activate Profile and Save
For corporate accounts, fax a letter of request and ID of the authorized signatory to 395-0138. Approval and activation maybe slightly delayed.
Text “ACTIVATE” and send to 2300
If unable to activate,please call Sun Customer Hotline (200 on your mobile phone).
* If surfing or MMS sending does not work or results in an error, please proceed to the next step for manual setting.

Manual Activation of GPRS/MMS/WAP
Setup/Enable GPRS
Go to Menu -> Services -> Data Account -> GPRS
Select Sun GPRS
Account Name: “Sun GPRS”
APN: “wap”
Select SUN MMS
Account Name: “Sun MMS”
APN: “mms”
Exit and save settings

Setup/Enable MMS
Go to Menu -> Messages -> MMS -> Message Setting -> Server Profile
Select Sun MMS, Select Edit Profile
Rename Profile: “Sun MMS”

let me give u an example, if you have an nokia, by sending a message to your service provider(vodafone..,.) you will get gprs setting and you can use internet from then but,


in case of china mobile it is not the case, you cant send any msg from ur mobile(as u do in case of branded mobiles) so, you have to got nearest centre of service provider(vodafone mobile store, if vodafone) and they will make some settings in your phone , immedately they will activate gprs on your phone(otherwise ask them to activate gprs then and there itself)

then you will be able to surf internet on your mobile .........

I m sorry. U lack knowledge regarding about SMS/MMS.
SMS=short messaging. It is only for text messages.
Similarly, MMS=multimedia messaging. It is for sending text with animations or photos, video clips, etc.
U need to have MMS connection in ur mobile to send text with animations.
