Drain pump may be clogged or need to be replaced may run but not pump blade stripped in pump

First, check to be sure the drain filter is clear. Also, pull the bottom of the door boot aside and look down in there to be sure an article of clothing didn't get in there.

The number one cause of all spinning/draining problems with the Duet washer is a clogged filter screen on the drain pump, I have written this tip that shows how to check/clean that filter.

Hi

This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. My Whirlpool Duet wisher will come on; but will not spinning at all! But sounds like it is working.What can I do to fix it halp halp!!

no high spin speed will ever be acheived if the water cant drain out,, remove th elower acess panel (3) screws acros the front of unit, from there youll see a drain clean out, unscrew the plastic and remove the dbris,, BE WARNED THER EWILL BE WATER BEHIND THE SCREWOUT DRAIN PLUG!!!!! i usually grab a trash bag and hold under to catch the gallon or so of wate rthat will come out
