Call fisher price and tell them and they will refund up to $150.00 without a receipt if you paid more then that then you have to have receipt showing that. All of the kid tough dvd players are breaking thats why they are not selling them anymore. I hope I was helpful.

Not if you purchased it past the one year warranty date. Then you are just out.

    Clarification: Should say, if you purchased this and something goes wrong after one year they won't refund. Ours stopped holding a charge 18 months past purchase-date so Fisher Price will not refund.

Fisher price kid tough music player is displaying a flasing exclamation point... please help!

I went to www.fisher-price.com/kidtough/ re-downloaded the software and installed/launched it but didn't get any updates. So I disconnected the player but left the Fisher-Price software running in the background and started doing other stuff. When I went to shut down my computer, I was about to shut down the Fisher-Price software when I noticed the message prompt "THERE IS AN UPDATE TO THE SOFTWARE, WOULD YOU LIKE TO DOWNLOAD IT" I was so excited to see the prompt and I hit OK. It told me to connect the player to the computer before starting so I did and it automatically did an update. It appears to be working now! Sure hope this doesn't happen again!

sorry that definately means that the battery is defective if it is still under warranty i would advice returning it please make payment as soon as possible thank you also if you need help finding a battery i would be happy to help

First off, my name is Marc, and I am from New Jersey. If by any chance you live anywhere close to me, and still need your dvd player fixed, I can personally fix this item without any hassle. (Depending on the specific issue you are having)
First, I must ask a couple questions of you...
  • When did you purchase this item?
If the date of purchase is within 1 year, you should call Fisher Price's customer service directly (1-800-747-8697). The number is toll-free and they are open everyday from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. (Central Time)
If you are, then call them... I know for a fact that in cases like these, they are normally very good with these issues, and will offer you a no hassle refund.
  • Also, what is the exact issue are you having?
This is important for me to know, just because I have successfully repaired two of these devices. One repair was to fix the issue with failing to read the disc properly, and the other was a battery/power supply issue. If the problem you are having with this device does not match either of these, then please be quite detailed about the troubles you are having.

What does it mean when the fisher price kid tough dvd player red light is blinking?

I'm not sure which light you are referring to but my daughters dvd player blinks on the side right by the brightness controls when it is charging.

Fisher price kid tough camera shows red-yellow-green light icon with an arrow on the red. Also the flash icon (lightning bolt) is showing in the bottom left of the screen. Emptied memory and changed...

We had the exact same problem. We transferred the photos off of the camera and then it went away. So possibly it is a memory full error or a card read error. I am not sure but the transfer solved the issue.

Fisher price dvd player - Need instruction manual

Check the Fisher Price website for an instruction manual. My daughter has one and when you plug it in and the red light is blinking that means the battery is charging. It has a battery pack inside (not removeable) that needs to be charged for 8 hours before the first use, but I'm guessing yours is used, so just let it charge until the light goes off.
