HTML clipboardHi
If your printer has been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog and the standard cleaning is not enough to clear the clogged ink.

Assuming your tri colour still has ink? (Empty they are about 30g Each 1g over that is 1ml of unused ink.)

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.
Magic Inkjet Flush usually works a treat on those!

Magic is ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon, Epson HP and removing those horrible white lines which usually appear in prints when dried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to use a little Magic Inkjet Flush to soak the print head and you should be printing again like new.

Good Luck!

Color cartridge not recognized wont print in color

Try to re-seat the color cartridge in the printer. Open the printer cover > remove the color cartridge > close the printer cover > re-brick you printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where the power cord is plugged in, and re-plug after 10 seconds. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridge and close the cover. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't help, the problem could be due to a clogged print cartridge nozzle or one of your cartridges is not seated properly in the carrier. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix print quality issues with your model:
  1. On your computer, go to Start menu.
  2. Go to Programs.
  3. Go to Lexmark 2600 Series folder.
  4. Select Lexmark Solution Center.
From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the print cartridge nozzles and clean them.
After printing the test page, try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Im trying to print a black and white document but it wont let me print because my color cartridge is missing

The Lexmark X2600 requires both cartridges to have ink in them to continue printing, even if your printing in "black and white". To print true black, you actually use some of the color ink. , Leaving the color cartridge empty or dry isn't good for the printer. It can lead to poor print quality issues.

I can download solutions center also it keeps showing no color cartridge so it wont print in color

Try to clean the cartridge nozzles. On your printer operator panel, press Setup button, press Ok -> Press the arrow buttons until Clean Cartridges appears, and then press Ok. A page prints, forcing ink through the print cartridge nozzles to clean them. Try to print your document again.

My hp Color Laserjet 3550 Printer wont print black when it is out of color ink

The 3550 won't print in any color if any of the colors are out. You'll have to replace the color ink that's empty to get it to print.

In the future, if you're just printing black and white, you can select "Print in Grayscale" from the print properties to just use the black ink cartridge, which will help the color cartridges to last longer.

Ran out of color ink on cnnon mx310 ... want to

If when you attempt to print only with the black cartridge installed but it won't print, then this specific printer requires that color ink also be installed. Typical with most inkjets.

Color cartridge wont print

The color cartridge is defective. Sometimes, when the printer detects a refilled cartridge, it "marks" the cartridge as defective hence the refilled cartridge will not work on any printer.
