To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted section of text just above.
This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.
You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.
See page 24 of the manual for instructions on how to deactivate the DEMO MODE.
Basically, if your Panasonic microwave display shows DEMO MODE, then just press the CLOCK button on the control panel 3 times in a row.
The display should then go blank indicating that it has successfully returned to normal cooking mode and can be operated as usual.
A few models require you to push the CLOCK button 4 times to clear the DEMO mode, so try that as well if the above instructions do not work for you.
In most Panasonic models, the DEMO mode is turned on or off with "Fn + 5" key combination. So if you are stuck in Demo mode, press Fn followed by 5 it will bring you out of it. Other times, it could be Fn + 0 and then Press 1 to turn on the demo mode and 2 to turn it off.
If there is no Fn key on the touch pad then it could be something like tapping the ON or OFF key four times
Hello
Two options to try:
a) Press the Clock / Timer button 3 times
b) Unplug, wait a few seconds, then re-plug to power up with the factory settings. You will need to reset your clock and any favourite settings.
This should work with all Panasonic Microwave models.
Good luck
Talked to GE Help Line (1-800-626-2005) and found out the magic key combination for this microwave. Plug in after being unplugged for at least 30 sec. and then press Help plus Boost at same time for 3-4 seconds (until it beeps). The microwave will now be in normal mode (I assume you do this to put it in demo mode as well).
If the model number you have this listed under is correct, all you have to do to turn the demo mode on/off is the following:
Press FUNCTION, followed by "0" (zero), then press 1 to turn demo ON, or press 2 to turn demo off.
If this is not your model number, please post back with your correct model number, so that I may be able to assist you better.
NOTE: These instructions are listed on pages 10 and 11 of the Owner's Manual.
