Picture will not come on but sound does

An LED TV is still an LCD TV, just with LED backlighting. That model is an LCD TV. The difference is in the backlight. Both LED and LCD TVs use an LCD screen. LED TVs have LED backlighting of the LCD screen, which saves energy.

It sounds that the IIC Bus circuit shorts bey some faulty components connected to it. The troubleshooting work to this section circuit is very skilled one. According to the symptom the it needs software update. Update the firmware and it work fine again.

seems like you have power suply board problem
there may be a couple of capacitor that needs to be replace and eventualy it will no longer start

If you still have a waranty, you need a tech to go and replace the motherboard in this tv or burnt out lcd. If not, you may have to buy a new tv

it could be two things either your speakers have blowen or you main board is faulty at the speaker connections.

if you have a led light "on" replace the mainboard.
If the led light is off the replace the powerboard.

It doesn´t matter if the led light is blinking or not.

For DISH Network users: I found that the Citizen brand remote code #523 worked for the sound, mute and power. This is for the remote that comes with the standard DVR, im not sure about any others.

Some systems will not transmit audio with HDMI. Obviously this is the case with your system. In this case, you will need to run audio between your cable box adn your TV. The best is digital or optical audio, otherwise just use RCA cables from audio out of the cable box to audio in on the SAME channel as your HDMI is connected.
