HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m scanning problems

If you have a USB port yes. You just need to buy a wifi to usb print server. Any decent computer store will sell them. You will quite likely be limited to printing as often the scan functions do not work with the prints servers.

Launch the OSX system preferences, click on the Print & Scan Icon located in the Hardware row, select your printer in the left hand column, click the Scan button above the right hand box, click on the Open Scanner button, a new window will open, click on the scan button in the upper right hand corner of that new window, set your document on the flat glass panel of your multi function printer/scanner, and click the scan button located in the lower right hand corner of the window, once scanning is complete, your document image should appear in a new window and save the image from there.

You need uninstall first software driver of HP PHOTOSMART PLUS AIO PRINTER B209A PHOTOSMART PLUS AIO PRINTER B209A All-In-One. and Then reboot your PC. then install again software driver for that printer select English language version.

Scan and save the file. Open that image and go to "File>Save As" and name it (filename).tiff. Go to "Start->Programs->Microsoft Office Tools->Microsoft Office Document Imaging". Go to "File->Open" and open your document. Go to "Tools->Send Text to Word."

When process is done Microsoft Word will start and your document will be present and able to be managed as you please.

Try to reinstall the printer driver. If its still in error, check your OS if it is compatible with your printer driver.

You can use the program that comes with the printer. Its called HP Solution Center. There you can view your printers status, etc.. In addition you can choose to copy, scan or print files.

you may need to change the com port that the printer is using, it may be in conflict with some other hardware. Go to device manager and click on printer and right click go to properties and see what com port it is on., check other hardware and make sure nothing else is running on the same com port.
You may also try re-installling the software.

I suggest that you turn off the printer power, then unhook from usb. That disconnect from usb can sometimes scramble the printer driver and control firmware, and require a reinstallation. Also, plug the printer directly into a wall socket, especially for scanning.
