Aquarius wf541. Am trying to unscrew and remove pump filter at front to clean and check for blockages as lights keep flashing. Kick plate removed ok. turned filter anti clockwise as oer instructions but it will not remove. any ideas? have tried pulling with pliers but dont want to use too much force incase plastic breaks
Think yourself lucky my plastic broke when i was unscrewing it or tying to ended up cutting my knuckle open on the shard of plastic and water pumping out all over my kitchen is there somewhere that you can purchase the cap from and how do you get the broken one off???
Had th same problem, coins in it jamming it. had to move bach and forward a few times to work it loose. It jammed again and I had to force it breaking off the inners that i was able to supper glue back on.

There must be something stuck in the filter, as normally it should pull straight out once you have unscrewed it.
Try screwing and unscrewing it at the same time keep twisting and pulling at the filter.
If you can't tremove it, then you sre going to have to remove the complete pump in order to clear the obstruction

This is either the large pipe that connects from the bottom of the outer drum, to the suds pump inlet, or the pump bodies itself, or the seal inside the pump. This may be tricky to work out where the leak is coming from, but just use a good torch, with the back removed, and watch it through a short cycle. If it is a plastic pump, they usually have small screws holding the 2 parts of the pump body together. Try tightening these, if they are loose. Also if the machine is over 8 years old and has had a lot of use, it will most likely be the pump seal.
