You don't have to replace the whole keyboard if some of your keys fell off. There is a key replacement company I ordered my keys from. They have video tutorials on how to fix your keys. And its very simple. Have a look:

Hi,
The best bet would be to replace the entire keyboard, as it would be more convenient to replace rather than putting the keys back.

You can get in touch with the following to get the keys or the keyboard

E-bay my friend. E-bay.  You can purchase individual keys for the keyboard or buy a whole keyboard and replace keys whenever you need to.

Lenovo keyboard with vga

I'm assuming you want to use an On Screen Keyboard.
Open On-Screen Keyboard by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_818.jpg, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking On-Screen Keyboard.

I have a colleague that spilled coffe into the keyboard of his brand new Lenovo T400. Is it diffucult to remove? Does anyone out there have any experieince the removal (link or simliar) on how to remove...

If I were you just call THINKLINE: 1800-4267378 in Atlanta GA

if the computer has A LenovoCare Notebook Protection - keyboard replacement and other parts if damaged accidentaly would be free.

however if out of warranty they will tell you on how much will it cost you - but it is cheaper to send to depot with Lenovo than a local tech service.

How do I replace a key that fell off my Lenova T400 Thinkpad?

Only way is to find another keyboard that is broke and take the key off of that and put it on yours. Otherwise you have to buy another keyboard.

Actually this Ebay seller sells keys for IBM keyboards so you wouldn't have to buy the whole keyboard:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290422834687&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=%3F*F%3F&GUID=6bb4fc401280a0366331b311ffc5474d&itemid=290422834687&ff4=263602_263622

Or you can buy a whole new keyboard here:
http://www.codemicro.com/store/product/42T406602/New

You have at least a couple of options.

When starting my Lenovo Think Pad laptop T400 there is an error message 0210 stuck key 50, what does this mean and what shall I do

Hi

Thank you for your query

Please try the following

1) Hook up a external keyoard to the USB/PS2 prot and see what happens

2) Press all the keys several times when the laptop is switched off to ensure that the keys are not stuck i.e. with debris etc etc

if this fails it would seem you have a bad keyboard, and would be looking at getting replaced

Please leave feedback/vote if my answer was helpful

Is there a "shortcut" for dimming the screen

The keyboard has function keys just like the Dell. Hold down the FN key and tap the key that has a little sun + or - on it.
