Team - I cannot get any sound from my rear speakers (Fronts, Rears and Sub) on my 6.1 Yamaha Amp (HTR-5650). When I work through the Set-Up menu to configure the speakers, I get to the part that tests each speaker with White Noise and that works fine (each speaker sounds as tested by the Amp). To me that means that everything is connected properly. When I exit the Set-Up after configuring the 4 speakers, my display only shows two speakers and those two (front mains) are all that play along with the sub. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to configure the Amp so that all speakers (fronts, rears and main) play all of the time for al music (CD, TV, DVD, VCR, etc....). Any ideas that you could throw my way would be appreciated. Thank You.
Select different modes on the remote or front panel and make sure all speaker that you have hooked up are showing on display. Are the Lt & Rt channels at least playing audio? If you want, i can step you thur some steps to try in live chat if you want today. Let me know as i have experience in this area! Sincerely Guru Jay

Thanks Guru Jay ! I believe that my problem turns out to be that I was not supplying dolby 5.1 coded audio to receiver and as such, the channels were not split out as I had expected at the receiver.
Exact same problem.
I have the same problem. I have lost my remote control. Do I need this to solve my problem?
