I need to adjust the straps to my car seat to fit my growing baby. I have tried multiple times to thread it through the back, but it will not work! I have tried everything and it seems impossible. Is there an easier way? My car seat is an Evenflo Embrace Connor I believe. It's green and tan with the z handle and 5 pt harness. I received it as a gift last april.

You need to turn the car seat over and on the very bottom there are two gold rectangle-shaped clips holding the straps. You can pop these out and feed them through the hole....not like other car seats where the straps unattach up at the shoulder end.

How do i fit baby weavers car seat?

We washed the strap then spent an hour but finally figured it out! Start in the back hooking on to the adjusting strap that comes from the front under the seat. Getting across the bottom takes some patience (and small fingers). Don't forget to go through all the clips. Good luck_1013.jpg

Hello, Have used Nania Newfix Solo child seat very satisfacorily for 3 years with harness. Now time to remove harness (leaving back of Childseat in place). Have removed harness as per instructions -...

Right,
After several months of struggle to find written instructions how to attach the central harness adjustment strap (The one with metal anchor at the end) to the red clip (buckle) strap as seems to be shown in instructions. budyn71.jpg
I have found number to temtex uk company that supplies nania products to argos on 01162844910, while emailing them on [email protected] had no result. There's no need to attach the two. Central harness adjuster strap has to be detached and pulled by it's front end as far as it goes. budyn71_0.jpg
While red clip strap threads through the gap between backrest and the base. budyn71_1.jpg
And red clip strap threads through hole (bracket) at the back of the base. budyn71_2.jpg

I have a Safety 1st baby carseat, it's a 22-391-MLO. I need to know how to put the straps back in!

each end of the long strap should be threaded up through the slots on either side of the baby's bottom, and then through the diagonal slots even with baby's shoulders. There is a clasp on the back of the car seat that you can thread each end through and adjust to the proper length.

Need help rethreading safety strap

My son has special needs so I must wash his seat often. I can not remember how to put the straps locks back so...

First, whenever I wash the car seat cover, I rethread the straps immediately. I only unhook one at a time and look at the one that is still threaded to see how to re hook the one I am working on.

Since you can't do that at this point, I suggest going to a store that sells car seats, look at how the straps are hooked and if you have a picture phone - take a photo!

Car seat adjustment for britax eclipse

Tilt seat back and slacken straps fully. Follow each shoulder strap through back of seat and down towards lower back of seat. There you will find (maybe hiding under a plastic cover) a metal bracket that retains the straps. You can slide the straps out of this, pull out and thread back through at a higher point.

The actual tension adjust ment is usually a metal clip that you push or pull which is located in the centre/ front are of the seat, or front/centre, underneath where the child's feet hang.
