This is not normal don't do this or you mess up other programs that load those functions into their registry. Check out this link below for updated files for your computer at ASUS. I already have it selected on your computer. Just verify the operation system your using. I selected XP. Just copy and paste into your browser.

I would try with the driver for you touchpad and bios first. I would go to the support section first and call them as they may tell you another file or which ones to use.
Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else. It would be very kind of you if this does work for you to please rate me or leave a short note. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on
both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle
the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function
key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12
key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will
have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower
with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display
Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.
