You may want to call Agri-Fab at (800) 448-9282 first to make sure your snowblower has the correct brackets to fit the Craftsman tractor.
Have the numbers off the snowblower nameplate and the model number of your tractor (it's under the seat)

Go to sears.com and lookup in the parts listings for the tractors model number and the snowblowers model number and they will show all the attachments and brackets needed to run it. Hope This Helps Don

That Snowblower is made by Agri- Fab for Sears/Craftsman .If you go online to the agri-Fab website it is possible to down load the manual or if you email them they will send you a copy. I have dealt with them.They have even sent me missing parts. GOOD LUCK

go sears web site, typ in your model number it well give you attachment part number if there is on emade for your unit. not LT can take blower attachments. its more likly you have a polune or AYP unit

i have a snow blower attachment mod# 842.240530 sears and a sears 18 hp tractor mod # 917.258492 with no instructions on how to install them together? i dont know where all the parts go.

the needle valve on carb is out of adjustment it should be turned all the way in & out 1-1/2 turns to 2 turns try that & let me know if i can further help ya
