Howdy,
To reset your Panasonic Lamp Time:
ø Press and hold these buttons for (at least) 5 seconds:
ø Volume Down button (on TV Panel).
ø AND ACTION Button (on remote).

As the remote gets older the ACTION button may not respond unless you press the button dead center and not at an angle.

Thanks for using FIXYA, BIG IRISH.

PT-61LCX65 lamp light flashing. Believe I need to change lamp and reset? Could you tell me how to reset?

Check the owner's manual to be sure. The troubleshooting section should list the meaning of the flashing lights. Typically this is a bad lamp indicator or a lamp life indicator. The replacemetn lamp should include the instructions for replacing the lamp and resetting the lamp life counter.

Panasonic PT-61LCX65 Bulb Reset

hold the volume button down on the t.v. & the split button on the remote at the same time for about 8 to 10 seconds. The t.v. tech. did this with my panasonic 61lcx65. Also I had 2 fairly large red / orange & 1 blue spots on the screen which I thought were a result of the bulb being bad , but the tech. attached a device he called an eeprom jig & it reset the chip ? Now the picture is like new again.
