Casio fx-83ES hello, i hav jus recently purchased the casio fx-83ES. so the problem is that whenever i try to do a division the answer comes up as a fraction but i want to change it to a decimal format. please can you help

There is a button SD close to AC button, standard - decimal try it .......or
shift+mode format math IO, change it to the other option

Press s=>d !!
it is right above the DEL key

Press S-D which is under the delete button

Thank god for that man, nearly chucked it in the bin before reading this.

If you want it decimals as standard though, so you don't always have to press S<=>D....You should press SHIFT then MODE (setup). Then press 2. Done! If you want to change it back, just do the same again, but press 1.

when u do the calculation and get a fraction press the [ S<=>D ] button and it will change it to a decimal

Press the s<=>d button
