Halifax.co.uk website - I can login but the minute I try to access any account detail the web page reverts to log in. I have deleted all temporary internet files , browser is set to accept cookies and the web page is added to ' trusted sites' list, also Java scripts enabled for 'active scripting'. I am at my wits end since I can access my account ok on the banks computer. Incidentally my web provider talktalk say that there is nothing wrong with their connection. Can you help?

Sounds like you have done most the right things, you could try another browser see if that helps, if your using Internet explorer try google or firefox etc see if that does the trick
update your anti virus and anti spyware and run them first too

Hi there
First off try a complete power recycle, to ensure that it is not a temporary setting preventing access.
If you are being blocked now then it is likely that you are not entering the login details that Facebook is expecting, whether they have been satisfactory in the past or not. You could try this, go to the login page here:,

just under where you input your password you can click on "forgotten password". This takes you to a page where it says "find my account" where you can enter "Email, Phone, Username or Full Name". Try entering one of these (My email gave the best result for me) and follow through the instructions to reset your password so that you can access your account.
If this does not work there are a number of options here depending upon what you have lost, ie you can't log in, your facebook page has been locked and you can't change it, or it no longer appears to exist. I could go through them all but it has already been done here:

It details the methods you can try depending upon the exact circumstances.

any reputable business that you deal with will always address you by name not as you probably have dear customer

Welcome to Fixya. If the page keeps on looping you can reset the web browser that your using to fix the issue.

For Internet Explorer:

- Click on Tools
- Click on Internet Options
- On the General Tab, Click Delete, Delete the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History. Or You can just Click on Delete all.
- Click on the Advanced Tab, Click on Reset Button then Click on Apply then Ok.
- Try to Login to your Facebook Account.

For Firefox Browser:

- Click on the link. How to Reset Firefox

Can not login to you tube can watch v. but click on log in and it defaults back to google can not log in igoogle either

1. Open your Web Browser.

2. Goto Tools >> Internet Options.

3. Delete all Cookies, Temporary Files and History.

4. Apply the settings and restart the browser.

5. If even now the page is not accessible, the problem is the busy server! Please try to Refresh/Reload the web page!

I cannot log into facebook , It was runing fine, I closed it then attempted to log back in 10 minutes later and nothing. I enter my e-mail and pw and the page loads blank.

You should try to open in new browser window. Sometimes web sessions got ended and when we try to login web browser would not able to disply page.
It's a temporary issue.
