Hi,
Unless the glue is conductive you shouldn't use it to repiar the L2 inductor. Your only real options are:

1) take it in/send it away for repair.
2) Buy conductive glue (theres one avaliable on ebay called "wire glue" I own a pot of it and it's great stuff) and then stick it on with that.
or
3) solder the L2 inductor back into place.

Possibly not... go to a technology place and ask for a repair. because glue might destroy the inside of your ds, making more damage

When charging DS lite the light stays orange

The issue is not with the fuses or with the battery. That end is working properly if the light stays a constant orange. The issue is with the other end, how the system powers on. Check the power slider (on mother board) or the L2 inductor (located below the slider). Chances are the tab on the slider has broken off or the L2 slider broke off from the motherboard.

When I switch on the power to my DS Lite, all I

Hi,

This is usually caused by an internal component becoming loose. It is usually either the wifi board of the L2 component.

Firstly I must say that if your DS lite is under warranty that you should send it off for repair, secondly if you are unwilling to do "DIY" on it that you find a reputable repair service (there are plenty of good ones on ebay).

If you wish to have a go at repairing it yourself then you willneed a few tools, check out my profile page (click on my name) and see the "DS lite dismantle process" guide.

Try disconnecting the wi-fi board and then placing it back on the motherboard and if that doesnt work try resoldering the L2 component. (you may find that the DS lite rattles when shaken and if this is the case then chances are the L2 component has come away from the motherboard)

Please get back to me if you need any further help or advice.

Ok i have a nintendo ds lite and when i turn it on the green light turns on but not the screens on top and bottom

Hi,

Assuming there is no water damage to the DS lite the most likely causes for this is that you have most likely either dislodged the wifi module, or the L2 component has come off the motherboard.

I would suggest sending it off if you have a warranty, take it to a repair shop if your warranty has expired or if you fancy repairing it yourself then you wil need to dismantle the DS lite.

If its the wifi module that has come loose then its just a matter of pushing it back into place. If its the L2 component it will need to be soldered back onto the board.

Hope this helps,

I have a Nintendo DS Lite that periodically works. When it doesn't work, the screens are black but the green light is on. What could the problem be and why is it intermittent?

THe L2 fuse located directly below the power switch on the motherboard is loose and needs to be soldered back in to place correctly.

Ds Lite not power up L2 Inductor is not good not work.

For the L2 L4 inductor specification, I check the following website, on there have original L2,l4 inductor power and specification

http://www.logictoyz.com/nintendo-ds/nintendo-ds-lite-spare-parts/ds-lite-l2-inductor-power-replacement-.html

By the way,L2,L4 is not fuse,
It is Inductor power
