I think it is the software problem, guess you've installed something not compatible with your phone. you can either do the factory reset or root your phone.

Did you install any apps prior to this? You can try going to the safe mode and uninstall that app

While charging htc magic, the phone shut down.. and i can't turn it on. please help

Hello,

Sometimes the phone shuts down when hit with current. All You need to do is to turn to the back of t he phone, remove the battery, leave it for about five (5) minutes, then You fix in the battery back and turn it on. It will power on.

But if it does not power on, then You need to check the battery out in another phone, to see if it will power it on, if it does, then it means the battery is okay, then You further check the phone by testing another battery in the phone, if it turns on then the phone is perfectly okay.

If it does not turn on, then it means there is a hardware problem that need to be checked by HTC help center.

Hope this helped You.

My g2 htc phone won't turn on and it won't charge either. I only had it for a month

It sounds like you have a defective battery. Try a different battery to see if that works before replacing the phone.

I have a HTC Magic and my screen just went black. I turned my phone off for school and when i tried to turn it back on again the regular "mytouch logo" came on along with the "Android" logo, but after that...

Looks to me like a software error, or perhaps some sort of problem with the O.S (operating system) Best bet would be to take it back to where you bought it, and have them examine it.

Please help, I can't turn on my HTC. What happened?

If you have a charged battery insert it and power the phone. If it hangs or whatever then (with the phone powered on, regardless of what's been displayed) keep on the keypad the two dashes ( - ) pressed and do a reset with the stylus. Do not leave the two buttons untill a black screen appears and ask you to press send (the green call button). Press it and you are done. If your phone doesn't have a hardware damage it should start. It will start from scratch again so you might be a bit patience.
