Your alternator needs to be replaced, the voltage regulator or the stator and even a diode has gone bad.
Any one or all of those mentioned above has gone bad and at lower engine speeds can not produce enough voltage causing your warning light to come on. Low engine speed causing the warning light to come one will not be a bad voltage regulator, but will be a bad diode or stator pack. Good luck and if there is an Auto Zone around your area, they can test the alternator for you free of charge and sell the replacement part with step by step instructions to getting the job done with common tools.

In the HJ, the two warning lights between the tacho and speedo are HIGHBEAM on the left and both HANDBRAKE/BRAKE FAIL combined on the right.
