Since the camcorder records on Mini DVD+/-R and RW, and SD/MMC cards, just eject the media from the camcorder and insert it into the appropriate drive on your computer. Open the burning software of your choice (which you may or may not already own) and follow the directions for burning the files with that software. If the disks are DVD RW or SD/MMC delete the files after burning is complete. Even though the manual states that it will work with DVD-R, the camcorder seems to have issues finalizing these particular formats, so I recommend using DVD+R and DVD+RW. I hope this helps and good luck. Please vote appropriately and leave a comment.

You can finalise any disk on a computer as this will close out the session and make it playable. If you software wont directly let you directly finalise it, then copy the files to the computer and then burn them as a video disk. Nero will do this.

Program shut down during disk media burning is indication that a device structure encounted malfunction during the process. For example, the computer for an observation should least have any malfucntion. Second the burning compartment as a component part of computer when experince conditon would display notice either as incompartible or least capable attaining an experiece prior to action commencement. Will not burn a cd anymore, trying to burn a cd of pictures, keeps saying insert a recordable disc, I AM, they are all new ones I put in!

Try the "new" disks in another computer.
Or, try "new" disks made by a different manufacturer.

I suspect that your CD-drive has "died".
So, for less than $50, you can buy a brand-new CD/DVD device for a desktop computer.

No matter what blank dvd i put after preparing it says INVALID DISK !!!help!!!

It may be dust in the connectors. If you remove the cover and use a can of dust remover to blow out any dust, also, blow out the connector holes. I fixed to VCR's like this. Good Luck.

Olympus VN-3100pc

on Windows XP, you will need to convert those files into 16bit cd audio quality. You can do this thru Sound Recorder on the computer. Just make that you change the file name before converting. Open up sound recorder, open up file, save as, convert, then change quality to cd quality then ok. After it is saved in 16 bit format, open Windows Media Player and then burn.

Dubbing vhs to dvd disc

I don't think it's the TV...IF you are recording from cable, some cable companies put out a anti-copy, or one copy only signal on some programs. It will interfer with your home usage. happened to me. I DVD'd '24' last year, and when a friend wanted to see an episode he missed-I popped my DVD in the computer, and the computer refused to burn the disk- The actual title on the disk(that I did not put there) was"COMCAST".

Samsung dvd recorder model vr-325

Ok I have been here before. The problem is your DVD burner in your DVD player unit may not be burning the disk in a format recognized by the Computer, or the laser may not have burned the disk to the set standard, and while it can play on that DVD player when you move it to a nother player it will not play. Well what we can do is Test the reverse first. Burn a DVD on your computer and try to play it on your DVD player and on the other TV. Then what I want you to do is to clean the lens of the player and try to burn a disk and play it on your computer. Let me know how this truns out.
