By changing the password from the instal disk you can get into the computer but you need your old password to open keychain. How did you lose authority in the first place?

Go to applications, utilities, Keychain Access, look down the list for the entry you want to remove, select it, click the edit menu then click delete, Done :-)
Hold Apple+S when booting to enter single user mode
#sh /etc/rc
#passwd yourusername
#reboot
If you can't recall your user name, you can either look in the /Users folder (the directories are named by user), or run "niutil -list . /users".
Also, on older systems the /etc/rc script isn't available, apparently. If that second step fails, try mounting and starting the base services manually:
#/sbin/fsck -y
#/sbin/mount -uw /
#/sbin/SystemStarter
I've had to do this a couple of times for friends when they've bought a second hand machine, and once when I had a momentary brain lapse and forgot my own password. Works like a charm, though you'll loose any passwords stored in your keychain.
Delete your Facebook password in you keychain.
Finder -> Utilities -> doubleclick Keychain Access, Select Passwords, click on the password you wan't to delete, Pick Edit in the top menu, select delete, confirm delete.
Go to the blue magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner. That is the search Mac button. click it and type in the word keychain. You will see a folder called Keychains. Click that and you will have an see something called System.keychain. Click on that to open it. On the top it should say Keychain Access and it should have a list of all the items with passwords you have on your computor. (such as your airport, aol, msn or whatever). Click the one you want and in the bottom left corner is a box saying Show password. Hopefully it will just show it to you without requiring another password. However, It may ask first for your Administrative password. Hopefully you know that, and can put it in if it is required to grant access to the password you want. It will ask you whether always want to allow this or just once. I would say Always. (it is easier for future use). Can you be more specific? There are dozens of manufacturers of 'digital photo keychains' and most every one of them use different software. What is the name of the manufacturer or the keychain itself?
I was a little frustrated reading the above...being a PC user....
first, you must 'charge' the unit for 3 hours.
IT IS an easy fix...uninstall the Picture Viewer that you got from the Disc they gave...Throw it away. Go to www.mscustomercare.com at the top of the keychain section, it says "download".............. THIS version works.
The software doesn't use the "My Documents" shortcut, so it doesn't open in the "My Documents" directory in which "My Pictures" usually resides. The file browser opens, by default, to the program directory (C:\Program Files\Photo Viewer). Simply use the explorer tools to go "up" to C:\ (the root directory), then find the directory "My Documents" and within that "My Pictures"
