It showing error paper is jammed , but there is no paper in there

Hello, you may have a piece of paper (even a small piece) lost in the printer. Please lift the covers and remove any paper trays. Use a flashlight if you can and carefully look for any paper stuck anywhere inside the paper feed paths, where paper goes in our out of the machine. If you need help on how to open up the machine, Canon has info on their web-site or the "easy setup guide" that came with it to show how things open.

If this is not the problem you may need to reset the machine to clear the error. Unplug the machine and leave sit overnight (worst case only if needed).
