Creative Labs I-Trigue L3800 Computer Speakers Logo

My Creative I-Trigue L3800 speakers have stopped working. The system receives power (the volume control lights up) but I am no longer getting any sound. I fear something may have blown but not sure what. I have had a look inside, circuit board doesn't appear damaged. There is one user-replacable anti-surge fuse which I could be the problem (a T6.3A 250V glass fuse), but the element is not broken and the glass is still clear which would suggest it is okay. Any other ideas?! Thanks.

On the remote control

The Jackplug for the headphones holds a switch, if the switch is stuck you will hear no sound from the satellites and woofer... your headphones should work however.
Solution is removing back of stereo jack and reassembling

I have Creative I-Trigue L3800 Speaker System, but I only get a redlight, won't power up. The Power supply works. What else can I try?

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers
if you dont have a disk with the drivers you will have to download them
hope it helps

If you search the internet for Headphone Volume Control Adapter you should find some, or radioshack sells them:

I broke my end of the volume control cord. i would like to know if it is easy to fix, or where i can buy a new volume control for a Creative I-TRIGUE 2.1 3300

Hello,
You should go to nearest electronics technician and easily they can change V/C or manege with equivalent another v/c .There will not be no effect, if that guys work with care.

Or youn can purchase from ebay.com or

No Sound from External Speakers....only from Headset plug.

Hi, had same problem.... unscrew the remote and carefully remove the back end part of the stereo-connector (very careful !) it consists of a very small switch which moves sideways..... this switch is stuck into headphone-modus. Reassemble and it will work again
Note that speakers will work if you remove the switch

I-trigue 3400 speakers

My 3400 worked yesterday, but today the subwoofer stopped working. I tried a lot of different things. In the end, I simply had to jiggle the wired remote connection to the subwoofer and it started working again.
