Universal remotes will be missing key functions in these units.

Zenith (and for that matter most brands) do not make these units--about 4 companies make most of them.

Your best bet is to try to locate an original remote--Zenith(LG) or Google the model number "original remote" or even search EBAY.

Digital TV can use component video and stereo connections to record on analog VCR. Analog VCR needs DTV converter to record digital TV channels. VCR play back use AV channel on TV.

I have an LG 47LH90 I want to verify attachment to back for mount. There is a pattern of 4-phillips head screws centered on back 8" on center. Do I remove these screws?

4 heavy screws near lower / middle part of rear panel.

NEED CODES TO USE WITH ONE FOR ALL UNIV. REMOTE URC3300

Try holding down the tv power button and keep holding it while you press the channel button until your tv comes in.. It takes a few pushes. Make sure your tv is off first though.

It's a Zenith remote, MBR 3440 is the model #, 124-202-01 is the part #. To program, press and hold PRG button until red light stays on, press TV,AUX etc, enter 3 digit code (www.xdiv.com) press Enter.

Rather than use the method in the picture above you should use the audio L+R and video OUT on your VCR and connect these three to the color matching audio IN and video IN ports on your television. The colors are red, and white for audio and yellow for the video. If you do not own a cable like this simply pick one up at radio shack they will know exactly what you need. The pictured method will work also but the picture and sound quality will not be the best possible.

Remember you are sending data OUT from the VCR and IN to the TV

to see if you made the connections properly start playing something in the VCR and flip through the video input channels on your television by pushing the video input button on your television remote.
