First, if you received an email message with a link, such as the address you included in your question, I suggest you do not click on that link unless you know FOR SURE you ordered anything recently from Argos.

You MAY have been sent a phishing email with a link to a web site which could install some malware on your computer.

Instead, if you know you have an account for online purchases from Argos, go to the Argos website:
http://www.argos.co.uk/

Sign into your Argos account. Once in your Argos account, there is probably a link for messages or order status or something like that.

Try multiple cables.Some cables only charge and do not handle data.

The Packard Bell Argo C Laptop - is actually an Easynote MZ35 series laptop. and the drivers for Windows XP can be found on the 'legacy' list of drivers at Packard Bells own site. LINK

sounds like the keyboard has a problem either the keyboard itself or the ribbon cable that connects it to the the computer is insecure or faulty. i would take it back and insist on an exchange
