hi there, the easiest way to do this is to go to the laptop's website on another computer that has internet, find drivers and downloads, and type in your info. It will then give you a list of drivers and speed stream ethernet driver should be there. Download and install.

Go to the Capture Menu. In the Capture menu, you can determine the conditions you would like to choose such as Size, Quality, Scene, EV, White Balance, ISO, Color, Saturation, Sharpness and Date Imprint. Press the MENU button and then scroll through the options. Choose "Date Imprint" option and then change it to OFF so that the Date will not be showed on the captured image. I might advise you to reconfigure the speed stream maybe there are some hardware lock ups inside to the router, Reconfiguring the router might fix your concerns.

You must use a phone company phone line splitter that is approved for DSL usage. If you use a radio shack or walmart phone splitter it will not work.

There are several reasons of intermittent stream, Since you mention you have faster speed of connection, I will suggest you to use different browsers, such as Firefox and opera, There are different programs also available which can help you to record the streams and replay them seamlessly. You may use Real Player 11 for stream recording.
