Cant find my wpa # needed to reconnect my router (TM-G5240) to my x-box live account

Is it the wireless device or your ISP? Location the same on wireless device? Computer same place? Channel the same? Antenna the same? Cables the same? You will never get what is advertised. That would under perfect conditions and the Max it will work. Figure the miles of cables and equipment between you and the ISP and all the places it could degrade a signal. Try a High location for the device, change channels.

Hi you`ll need to put the cd on a pc with a cd rom the copy it to a flash drive a an external harddrive then put it in the laptop and install it

you have to tell the router and the firewall that you don't want "abc" user to use the router.
this is done by logging into the router and allow/disallowing the user by MAC address ( Media Access Control) .
depending on the router to access it is going to a browser window and entering either 192.168.0.1 or
192.168.1.1
instruction set to secure your router is in the "helps" file.for
1.select the "Advance tab
2. select filter "MAC'
3. Enter name
4. under MAC address enter MAC address
5.on the DHCP Client select DHCP client from the pull down list; click Clone to copy that MAC address

Are you trying to connect to this router wirelessly or with an ethernet cable? If you are already using an ethernet cable, try using a different cable in case the first cable is damaged.

check the bottom of the router it might be on a sticker , it will say network, security , wpa or wpa 2 key. If you cant find it there , you will have to logon to the router using your web browser and check it that way

These are case sensitive.

The wep key/wpa passphrase should be your password for your router. If not some routers have the wep key written on the side of it.

refer to page 12 and continue on through the user manual for the steps on how to login and secure the router. It is a very straightforward process. Here is the link to the manual:

the wpa code is the network password for your windows computer network.
go to: start, control panel, network and, internet, homegroup, view or p
print home group password, then "enter" the large letters you see will be your wpa code pass word

WPA key is your Wireless router key for internet access.
To connect your console to wireless internet and go to Xbox Live you must enter WPA key for your wireless router.

It`s a same key than you use to connect your Notebook, cellular phone, etc. to your home network.
