I have had 2 Palms in the past. I now have a used TX and it came with a USB cord, but it doesn't appear to charge the unit. Does it require an additional cord? My other Palms charged through the USB.

You must have a AV card connected via the USB which can be used to link the laptop to the TV. The video and audio from the AV card can be connected using the RCA cords to the video input( yellow) and audio inputs( red and white).

HI, Yes if you go to palm.com you will find a section for support. You can download everything you need there to get your PDA up and running. Once you have the software installed on your computer you will want to go in and enter all your information like names and addresses in your contact section. Once you have that all done you connect the PDA to the computer by using the usb cord and then hit HotSync. You can go back later and update any of your infomation right in the PDA itself. I have a similar problem with my m515. I have 3 palms and 2 sync fine but the 3rd isn't even getting to the computer. There is no recognition from the computer that the palm is trying to sync even though I use the same cradle for all palms. The ensuing message is, "the connection between your handeld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again". My settings are set Local and Cradle/Cable.
