yeah this sounds like a bulb burning out they are made to last 6000-8000 life hours I found the lamp you need just in case

PLEASE RATE THIS SOLUTION AS I DO THIS FOR FREE !!!!

Remove it and make sure that the cup washer and spring are seated propoperly. The large end of the cone shaped spring sits on the bottom of the housing seat and cone washer slips over the small end of the spring. Use the shank of small screwdriver to guide the washer and spring by placing them on the shake in the proper order and then putting the shank into the housaing and sliding the washer and spring.
You may also have to disconnect the supply tube that connects to the faucet under your sink. This is to relieve the pressure within the valve housing which can cause the washer to become mis-aligned when installing the cartridge
. Also check cartridge for defects and make sure you have it install in the correct position i.e you may have to remove it rotate it 180 degrees re-install it and move the limit stop (if it has one, depends on year) inserted in the top to the correct side for propoer operation direction of the handle after you reverse it.

You do not need a warranty card for your warranty to be valid. Your installing contractor provides the labor warranty and the factory provides the warranty on parts. All the necessary information to make a (parts) warranty claim is embedded in the serial number of your unit. As for a manual you should contact the installing company or visit the Weatherking (Rheem) site to request this information. www.weatherking.com

Just go to a spring shop and order a new set. they run about 100 a set

huummm... i'd pull out the invoices to equipment there's always a 5 year warranty on compressor. sometimes contractors says it's out of warranty to sell you a new unit, (they usually hate repairing.) If your invoice says it's less than 5 years old well technically your under warranty. If contractor doesn't want to honor warranty you should contact any local consumer affairs office and file a claim, sometimes if the equipment is less than 5 and more than 2 you might have to pay a small fee to get the replacement compressor. And you might have to pay some fees, at least installation of it. and the only time it needs refrigerant if's there's a leak. I'd on on that line for now hope to be of assistance today.
