Hi, I have pa Polarid LCD tv-dvd combo. I am having some trouble with turning the tv on. I can see the power coming to the tv but it not turning on. Can you please help me with that.
SAME EFFIING PROBLEM with this piece of junk Polaroid. First the DVD would always start skipping at about 20mins of play. Now the piece of junk will not turn on - no picture, blue light comes on but no picture. Of course there is absolutely nothing Polaroid will do about it - I am just a customer, so I should be screwed royally.
What good is it to post everyones problem if you arent going to supply a solution to the problem, we all know the problem!

I have the same problem with the tv turning it on and off and no picture when I turn it on; fix it man came out and put in 2 ten dollar parts, with labor bill was $219.09. We need a class action suit with Polaroid since this is a defect however I phoned them and they take no responsibility! Last Polaroid product I will ever purchase.

I purchased 19" Polariod LCD, on day one it had the same problem. I was advised by tech support to return the same as defective

I keep trying to turn on my 32" tv and the blue power light comes on but thats it, none of the buttons on the remote work, or the tv. Once I turn it on I have to un-plug it to turn it off. There is absolutely no picture.
When we turn our tv on, the blue light comes on but no picture. The blue light will flicker for a few seconds. We also have to unplug the tv to get it to turn off.
I am having the EXACT same problem. The blue light comes on as if the TV will power on and then.....NOTHING. I also have to unplug it to turn it off because no button on the actual TV set or the remote control will work. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TV??!! I've only had it for about 1 year!! I was pleased with it prior to this happening!
Have programmed tv three times. once shut off it will not respond to the remote or the tv buttons. tv must be unplugged and then replugged in several times before it will respond to any commands. this has happenned from the first time we set it up. once tv has been shut off, you must go thru this procedure to return tv to functionable ststus this product is a piece of junk.
when I hit the power button, the blue lights comes on indicating that the tv has powered. However, the screen does not come on. If I pull the plug and plug it back in, after 3-5 tries, it will work.
