Hi. I have an easyshare one 4meg pix camera and it has no life at all. I have just paid £16 for a new battery thinking that was the problem but the camera remains dead.
Any answers??

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Your camera is faulty. It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.
As it is still under guarantee, I would ask for a replacement as the unit has not worked from day 1

Try getting a can of compressed air and blowing into the area around the lens. This has happened to me several times and apparantely this camera is prone to getting dust in this area.

My Kodak easyshare M530 doesn't have a "stamp date" on my setup screen. Yet it does stamp my pixes.
Are you sure? Where are you seeing the date? As far as I'm aware, the M530 can't stamp the date on the pics. It can show the date when reviewing pics, and just about any photo printing program can print the date along with the photo, but the camera won't hide anything behind the date.

When we take pix w/ my Dad's EASYSHARE DX6490 Digital Camera, there's a huge delay between taking shots. Is there a way to speed up the time it takes after he shoots a pix before he can take...
You can go into the setup menu and make the pictures smaller. They won't be as clear if you blow them up but, for most pictures, they should be fine. Use some trial and error.
Also, check the refresh rate on the manufacturers website. They might have a firmware update that could speed it up a little.

mine use to take good pix then got blurry.
seems to be better but just did it all and have only taken sample pix.

How do I transfer pictures from the internal memory of my KODAK Digital Camera to a memory card? Answer :
Follow these steps:
  1. On the camera, press Review and then Menu.
  2. Select Image Storage.
  3. Change to Internal Memory.
  4. In the menu listing, scroll down to Copy, and select OK.
  5. Select a single picture, or select All.
  6. When you have finished copying pictures, reset the Image Storage location to your original setting.

What should i do to get my pix on to my lap top.
do you have the camera turned on when it's hooked up to the USB? the camera has to be turned on, and sometimes in playback mode. (where you go to view the pictures)

also if all of that was done properly, you may need to download a driver for it. you can look it up online for the specific camera you have.

Camera is calling for the SD card to be formatted
if this the very first time using it (sd card)...plug your camera to pc using the usb wire it came with...you are setting it up so that you can put pix/video on it.......now if you have pix video files already on it (formatting will totally erase it)....if you really dont need/want/nor care for the pix just follow the same info from the top............

Its an XML parsing error :
1) shutdown easyshare software from the system tray

2) search for vistaedit.esx on the search box

3) rename it to vistaedit.old

4) open the Kodak Easyshare software again
