unplug it,open the door, remove the two phillips screws that hold the door on and remove the other two on the other side, remove the door and pull the front panel off, just tilt the top of panel out, remove the four 5/16 inch screws that hold the front bulkhead on,then remove the top screws and the L bracket on top, remove the front bulkhead, pop off the metal wire holder on the right side and stick the bulkhead on the right side of the machine so you can remove the drum, lift the top panel up a few inches and slide out the drum, you'll see the mark on the drum from the old belt, put the belt on the drum ribs down against the drum, slide the drum back in,grab the belt, put it under the belt pulley, pull the pulley over to the motor and connect the belt on the motor shaft, put the dryer back together the same way you took it apart, you'll notice two short screws, they go into the holes that have a space around the hole, one goes in the bottom and then the other opposite side up top.hope this helps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eeJvqhHEYY
My TLWTOB6 Salton Toastmaster Lightwave broke, and I fixed it. It had still turned on the display OK and pretended to run, but neither the top nor the bottom lamps would turn on. Also, it made no clunk sound that it would usually do when turning on the lamps.
I took it apart (keep careful track of which screws go where, and there are lots of sliding tabs to put pieces together). I examined the bottom of the circuit board holding the big electronics, and saw discoloration; evidence of heat damage. I wiggled a wire near by, and its quick connect tab came off the circuit board; it hadn't been soldered right at the factory. So, I resoldered it (hope my job was done better), and put it all back together, breaking and resoldering a data cable in the process -_-
So, it works fine now, and hopefully will last a while. By the way, the web address in the manual, www.toastmaster.com, doesn't work any more, and the URL is not associated with any IP address right now. Also, there appears to be no fuse inside the toaster oven.
Slides on phones are a pain to fix, can be something small or something big. I would first recommend having a cell phone repair service take a look before opening it up. Sliders are real touchy when being taken apart and being put back together.
Your microphone wires may be shorted take the mic plug apart (small screws) Now check for frayed wires touching or twisted together!
With the wires being resolderd or taped apart put back together
with the U pointing downward you shout have :
Right corner bottom Sheild ground!
Left corner bottom Black recive
Right corner top White or yellow this is Audio wire
Left corner top RED Transmit or PTT wire
If wiring looks good the problem is in the Mic take to servicer!
Usually the first thing on a laptop is the keyboard, then pry the plate above the keyboard (between lcd and keyboard), this will give access to the lcd hinges and connection. Remember to remove all screws, covers, drives, battery, memory and ethernet card BEFORE taking anything apart. Unplug the lcd, pull the wireless antenna wire through from the bottom of the laptop then remove the lcd. make sure there are no screws through the case from the top. then you simply pry the top off the bottom, be sure to start from the back as the front of the aspires are usually hinge style clips-meaning when you put it together tilt the top toward you, slide the front clips in place locking the front down then press down on th edges from the front to back to snap it together). After the top is off remove screws from the heatsink and fan, disconnect the fan and remove heatsink. There you go, install opposit of removal.
Happens sometimes it is one of two things: 1) When you put the DS back together is the ribbon from the top screen wound to tightly as this can cause the ribbon to pull out slightly from the socket on the motherbaord causing the blackout. 2) I have seen this happen only once before! The plsatic of the shell had a small chip where the battery connectors from the motherboard stick through into the battery compartment. THis tiny piece of plastic was stopping the final connection between battery and DS. Drove me mad, did all the usuals checked battery connections etc. Worht a look.
It is actually not that complex. Remove screws pull apart cover, there will be a couple more screws for you to remove. The you will see the plastic wire strip leading from screen to the circuit board. This strip just slides/pulls out. The screen pulls off. Reverse for replacement. Good luck finding a replacement. The company's won't sell an individual one for the general public.
The problem sounds like that the ribbon between the top part of the phone and the bottom part of the phone has came loose or that it has got dammaged i dont advise you to take the phone apart yourself as you will dammage it further this part isnt to expensive to replace but doing it yourself could result in the phone being further dammaged.
The only thing you could try is sliding it up and down a few times but whilst doing it push the two halves together not to hard but just a bit of pressure whilst you slide it open.
I have got one in bit in front of me and the problem with mine was the same as your and i had to take phone apart and i removed the ribon between the two halve i was going to replace it but i thought i give it a try so put it back in the phone and put it back together and then it worked fine.
If you think you want to do it yourself just bewarned it is very difficult to take apart and even more difficult putting back together every screw has to be undone in certain order and the same back together so it would be best to take to shop wont cost to much but would save oyu damaging phone further and then have phone that is no good.
does nothing at all work on the key board do the buttons on the top half work let me know how you get on ok
Solved it. If you need to take it all the way apart, here's the scoop:
Get the top cover off by popping it up at the hinge side (this is what pops when you drop it)... then at the charging end, slide the top towards the hinge to slip the clips out from under something.
the folding mic tells the board it is open by a small z-shaped piece of plastic. The skinny end of this fits into a tiny hole in the bottom of the case and the fat side slides up and down in a little round space over on the side of the case. There is a rubber button with a dark piece that sits on top of the round space. The dark side of the rubber piece presses against a round circle on the circuit board and tells it whether the mic is open or closed. Once you put it all together, you have to press the board down pretty firmly to tell if it is all working.
Then put the volume buttons back in place and slide the top back on.
