Your stereo have the bluetooth connection to be used only for the headset profile (IE to making and receiving calls). To read the music from the phone you need to connect it using a USB cable and put the phone on "Memory card" or "Mass storage" USB mode.
If that doesn't work is because some phones simply can't be read with devices other than computers because they use windows drivers to enable the data access.

Receiver won't play music from an MP3 device

Use your computer speaker as the sound device or use a headphones.

If it sounds good, it could just be your cable that goes to the receiver.

( using a Y cable to connect to one of the regular audio inputs.)

or have one like these:

3.5MM To Stereo Rca Cables: Electronics

I downloaded music on my mp3 player but when i try to play it it says drm license not available

The Digital Rights Management system is blocking your system. This can be a tricky thing to sort out. We need to know what music downloads are blocked - just some or all? What player are you using - iTunes and MS Media player are very active on DRM - Media Monkey is a bit less fussy - you might try it on your computer. Are the files playable on your other equipment. The more info we have the easier it is for us to try and help.

Syncing with the Motorola VE240

transfer music to your phone
Before you copy files to your phone, make sure
the files are in a format that the phone recognizes. Your
phone’s music player can play the following types of
audio files: AAC, AAC+, MP3.
To prepare your phone to receive music files:
1 Insert a memory card into your phone (see
page 11).
2 Set your phone to Mass Storage mode by going to - >Settings > USB > Mass Storage.

You should be set. I was having the same problem
