I have a Mitsubishi WS-55819 and I can not align red even though convergence board was replaced. Trying through advanced options or resetting to factory defaults does not correct it. What else could be the cause.
Did you replace the center board with the STK-392-570 chips or the Digital convergence board mounted on it?
98% of the time if you have a convergence problem it is on the center board---the small board on the left under the metal shield box stores and controls the convergence of this set.
WHICH DID YOU REPLACE?
I am here to help----I have fixed hundreds of Mitsubishi sets with convergence troubles.

incoming, heads up and if you have questions you know how to ask.

YES, they are 3.9 ohm and one watt---metal oxide or flameproof are ok--good idea per instructions is to check all of them when you get the board out---
by the way---what did you think of the instructions?
PUT THE ORIGINAL DCU BACK AFTER YOU DO THE REPAIR--IF IT IS OK TRY TO RETURN THE ONE YOU BOUGHT FOR A REFUND.

Are the blue 3.9 ohm resistors a standard part that you can get from an electronics store such as Radio Shack?
SD Tech - Repair instructions are very thorough and detailed. Should have no problems making the necessary repair (hopefully nothing else is wrong). Thank you for your expertise and insight. If anything else is required I will get back to you.
Checked the resistors with no problems and replaced the STK-392-570 IC chips. Now when I go to turn it on, the power light comes on and then goes off after a few seconds. What do I do now?
