Install window xp over vista ultimate

Why do you need to duel boot???
It is impossable for Windows XP to be Duel Booted to Windows 7.
There IS a way, but it would be to hard

If you can boot into safe mode, then once in safe mode open system restore and then restore to a couple days prior to the install of the hp drivers. This should fix the problem. If you need to know how to get into system restore let me know your operating system (Vista or XP)

get java runtime, visit adobe.com,
get flash player and alike

i am nofriend of win vista as xp is more stable and widely suppoerted, has almost same features!

Well, this may make you think twice:

I bought a presario from circuit city last year, and I paid $200 to downgrade to XP. Everything was fine until it crashed last week. IT went completely bizzerk. HP won't provide support, cause I changed it. Circuit City is out of business, not much help there.

Basically, I am completely #$%%@@.

I am now paying to get Vista put back in. :-(

If you have a Windows XP Pro installation disk, put it in the optical drive, restart your computer, on startup, go to BIOS settings (usually press [Delete] and set the optical drive as first boot device. Save changes and exit. When the computer starts it usually says to press any key to start from CD. Press any key and the windows installation will start. Make sure you format C: and you will downgrade to Windows XP Pro. If you want to upgrade to Vista again, you will need to know the keyboard sequence to start Vista from Its partition or have Vista install disk.

you will not be able to put os in the same hdd on a computer.also if vista is installed on one hdd & the other partition is on the same hdd so please try not to install 2 windows on same hdd,its not possible...

use other cd for win xp and tray agean

Normally Each copy of windows is capable of booting, provided that Boot from CD is enabled in BIOS Setting of the system.

if having problem please do:-
1. Enable Boot from CD in BIOS
2. Partition, Format, Install Another lower version of Windows (XP), pl dont upgrade service pack.
3. Install Win 7 (Run --> Setup --> Upgrade)
4. Install NERO 6.0 or above
5. Create a bootable using NERO 6.0

Now you can use this this CD for repair, boot, recover or preinstallation, partition etc.

Yes you have a choice , make the arrow keys on your board go up are down to xp are vista an press enter.it should boot ether one up.

do you want to replace vista or run double OS's, in other words you would be prompted to select either or operating system to use prior to loading screen.
