If this is a high effeciency model, the venting may not be clear or the drain may be partially plugged. if you hear any sort of water gurgling in the inducer motor, you probably have one of these conditions. if that checks, see if you have 110 volts to the hot surface ignitor. if you read voltage there after the inducer comes up to speed, then you need a new hot surface ignitor. if no voltage, then the pressure switch is still not closing. concentrate on the condensate drain and furnace venting.

Goodman furnaces gxs91155dxaa will not start> steady red light on the circut. No inducer motor. Somthing strange when I disconnect the Roll Out sensor the blower motor runs along with the inducer...

I would first try to power up the inducer motor by itself. If this works without any issue than the next step is to look at the circuit board. You will need a multimeter. Set it to 120V AC and test the leads on the circuit board that the inducer motor attach to. Turn the system on and see if you get a reading on the meter, if so, then you know the motor is getting power. I would then check the legend of your furnace with the led pattern. You mention it is steady, look up what the steady light means. It may point to a control board error, in that case you will need to replace the board.

Good morninng, My Goodman furnace inducer stops and starts at various intervals. At times it runs fine but starts the same issue. Everything starts up accordingly, runs and then the inducer stops for...

Replacing the board, flame sensor, and pressure switch, and cleaning out the induction motor was definitely a good start. Other things to check would be a blocked or restricted flue pipe, I have ran into a few bird nest before!, and you also want to check or replace the hose that runs from the inducer to the pressure switch if you haven't already. To be honest, most of the time I clear out the nipple on the inducer where the hose goes with a small piece of wire and it works. The last thing I would suggest is making sure the new pressure switch is rated for what you need. Alot of the revisions on furnaces actually call for less than the original pressure just for this problem. Hope this helps and good luck!

My furnace will not light. What does it mean when the red light on the circut board flashes 3 times?

Hello, a 3 flash on a circuit board means that a pressure switch is open, this could be due to a blockage in the flue pipe or the small tubing that goes from the inducer to the pressure switch is loose, leaking, or is blocked. You can try taking the tubing out and checking if there is anything in it blocking the pressure between the pressure switch and inducer motor and then attaching back on and make sure it's secure and tight. If that does not work that the switch itself is bad and must be replaced.

Verify that it has 120 volts present at the inducer motor connections. If it does then replace the motor again. If it does not then you will need to replace the circuit board.

There is a induced draft motor that will run first to purge the combustion chamber and induce a draft, a pressure switch closes proving an induced draft exists, thus allowing the spark and pilot gas, or hot surface ignitir and gas to pilot rsil and /or burners, a trial period for ignition about 30 seconds each for 3 attempts will be made and if not lit by the 3rd attempt it locks out, requiring a reset of power to unit to reset the module or circuit board etc. 1st see what motors running, is it the flue exhaust motor/induced draft??

If the gas valve is getting 24 volts and still not responding then replace it. If it is not getting 24 volts then replace the circuit board.

Goodman GS9 propane furnace inducer motor runs continuously

it sounds like the low temp limit switch, the one that cools the furnace down with the burner off and the thermostat open, when it cools to a point the fan stops, the other switch in burner area turns burner off/on, hope this helps

Replacing the inducer fan motor

Most inducer fan now come as a whole assembly. Some people can change themselves but make sure if you try this to get all the old gaskets off and be careful.

Light flashes three time repeated may fire but burner cycles every few seconds

that is a pressure switch failure code, you can try to clear the barb fitting on the Inducer motor housing that the rubber hose connects to . but without an manometer you cannot test the draft levels to see if the switch is working or if their is a draft problem

Since you have 24VAC, put a jumper between “R” and “W”, you should hear a relay click from the control board, this is for the inducer motor, if you don’t have 120VAC at the board, you have a faulty control board, it’s the same scenario if you do NOT hear a click.

Hope this helps
