Why has the screen on the wii gone dark . It still plays games but the colour is dark like it is in burn out mode

From what I've seen, a dark screen with colors that are a little off, one of the capacitors on the video output circuit are probably bad. I'd check that.

do you play the game by yourself or in two player mode? if you play in single mode, you only go for high scores and will stay locked. when you play with a friend, whenever you unlock a game, it is permenantly open, so you dont have to replay it.

Rock Band 2 Wii bundle song selection problem

You must beat songs before they can be unlocked.
Play the career mode and beat some songs.
Later on, these songs will become available.
If they do not appear once the career mode is beaten, contact the company because some disks end up being badly burned and are missing songs.

check your connection to the tv. are you using the rca jacks? is the rca input on tv "loose"?

try turning off the screen burn in if that does help if that doesn't work try a diffent tv if it the same thing then the console has a defect with the screen burn in and needs to be returned
